Bahama Breeze

For those of you who don't already know, there's a little treat at the corner of Flamingo & Paradise called Bahama Breeze.  I've been there about 5 times now, and I never could understand why it isn't busier.  I mean, it is pretty large inside, so maybe it just appears to be a little empty...

Anywho, today's visit more than met my expectations.  We had drinks, an appetizer and two entrees.  It was the Fire-roasted Jerk Shrimp to start.  Served with warm, toasted Cuban bread to dip in the yummy garlic-butter sauce, it was a perfect beginning to a delicious meal.

Our entrees followed shortly after.  First entree, Salmon grilled with a spice-jerk-barbecue sauce, served along side fried plantains and yellow rice with black beans...  And might I add, the most delicious black beans I have ever had.  Also, there was this mango/fruit salsa to go with the salmon - it was a the perfect accompaniment.  Second entree, the Mahi-mahi, sauteed in a lemon cream sauce with shrimp.  The sauce went wonderfully with the delicate, yet delectable fish.  And all of this within only an hours' time.

All-in-all, Bahama Breeze is a terrific place for a quick lunch or a fun night out for dinner and drinks.  Awesome food, awesome service and a great atmosphere! ~
