The Original Pancake House @ GVR

I had the best cup of coffee this morning at The Original Pancake House inside the Green Valley Ranch.  I mention this first before anything else because a good cup of java is hard to find.  Let's be honest... most breakfast establishments, serve mediocre coffee, at best.  What I like about this Pancake House is that you get the whole package here.  No sacrificing good coffee for crappy food or vice versa.

The portions are huge, even the sides are generous.  Everything was so delicious.... from my egg white veggie omelette to their German potatoes with cheese.  They serve up giant strips of thick cut bacon.  And let's not forget about the pancakes.  Mmm, pancakes.  Choose your favorite from a variety or keep it simple with the basic buttermilk - any way, you can't go wrong.

It was busy as usual, especially for noon on Sunday, but we had no wait to be seated.  The atmosphere itself is well-balanced:  tv's mounted on the walls amidst the beautiful and colorful glass lamps and chandeliers.  And the service was terrific; timely and very friendly.

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day... at The Original Pancake House @ GVR they make sure your most important meal is also your best!  ~
